Hand potter's wheel
The hand potter's wheel has been used for generations. The oldest one was used by the seventh generation, two generations before that, and I heard that it was used for many years with repairs being made by a local carpenter.
The seventh generation was born in 1873 (Meiji 6), so it has probably been over 100 years.

This potter's wheel was installed over 20 years ago, and it appears to be the same wheel board that was used by the 7th generation. Insert the hand crank.
There are traces of the holes having been repaired.
When the wheel board is removed, the core is revealed. The base is made of a thick tree trunk, so it appears it was carved from a tree trunk.
If you turn the wheel plate over, you can see that the back side has also been used. It has turned black from oiling the axle and bearings.
It is spun vigorously using a spinning rod made from a tree branch.
Use only your left hand to draw a certain shape.
The finishing touch is done by turning the potter's wheel with your fingers.
A wet table (carving table) is set up and the base is carved.
The carving is done by hand by rotating the potter's wheel.
